Kids Page

Ok kids, this page is for you, to make sure your Mum & Dad take you to the right places!
There are loads of things to do in Torbay, you just need to know where to look. GoKarts at Churston [the road between Paignton and Brixham] are brilliant fun, very fast and a big track makes for some serious fun.
If it's wet, go to the Rainbow fun house, at Torquay Torwood Gardens Road. This is an indoor assault course, complete with huge [and small] death slides, flumes, tunnels and loads more.Even Dad can have a go at this one,if he can keep up!

Very close to the Funhouse is the ten pin bowling alley which includes a Quasar game very good.
Don't forget the huge water slides at Goodrington beach, known as Quaywest.Guaranteed fun, they are the biggest in the UK ! Check out the rockpools on the beach when the tides out.

The Pier at Paignton has loads of the latest games machines, and simulators, along with trampolines and slides.

If you want to go crabbing, Brixham harbour is great, use squid or mackeral for bait. You can buy it from the fishing shop next to the harbour. There is the full size replica of the Goldenhind, complete with waxwork torture chamber! Try the aquarium at Brixham as well, to see BIG FISH.

Have a go at fishing from a boat,or try to catch the tea from Brixhams breakwater. Remember don't harm the fish and always put back any that you can't eat.

If it's hot, go to the open air, sea water swimming pool, at Shoalstone beach Brixham.Brilliant fun,and when the tide is out,the beach is one of the best in the bay for rockpools.
If you want to get wet and have some serious fun, go to Woodlands adventure park near Dartmouth. They have the biggest indoor play area in the UK, and lots of superb rides outside. This is one not to be missed!

Or you could visit the UK'S MOST HAUNTED CASTLE [as seen on TV] at Berry Pomeroy which is about 10 mins from Torquay, well worth a visit.
What about Paignton zoo,for a day on the wild side ! The zoo is one of the biggest and best in England.

Check our what's on page for more things to do, there are several firework displays and fairs,at Paignton ,Torquay and Brixham during the summer and remember the Red Arrows are coming to Torquay and Dartmouth.
